Happy 2nd Birthday Max!

2 years ago we were busy staring in awe at the brand new baby boy we had created. We admired fingers and toes (yea, he had 10 of each)! We looked at the amazing full head of hair (we were convinced he was going to be bald).

We cuddled. We held. We rocked.

We fell head over heels in love with our 10.2 pound, 22 inch, brown haired, rosy cheeked baby!

Now, here we sit 2 years later and we are in awe of the 2 year old we are raising. He walks and runs. He tries his hardest to jump. He has opinions and is not afraid to let everyone know what they are. He loves dinosaurs, animals of all kinds, Star Wars and trains. If you ask (and offer chocolate) he will count to 10 and tell you his name is Max Nelson.

We still cuddle. We still hold. We still rock.

We are still head over heels in love with our 29 pound, 35 inch, blonde haired, rosy cheek boy!
