So, the cutest thing just happened and I am neglecting my child for the next few minutes to share.
We have really been trying to head off temper tantrums before the terrible two's start. Whenever we are at home and Max starts to cry about something we tell him he has to go to his room if he wants to have a fit. This usually involves us walking him to his room and continually placing him back in his room as he continues to have a fit. When he is done throwing his tantrum we ask him if he is "all done" and then we usually give some love and hugs.
Well, this afternoon he started to cry and I looked at him and said "If you are going to have a fit you need to go to your room". He stopped crying, looked at me, and then he marched his little bottom to his room. As soon as he got there he started to scream and cry/whine for about 15 seconds. Then he stopped, came out of his room, looked at me and said "all done, hug".
That's progress, right?

OH MY GOD!!! That just made me laugh so hard!!!!! Wow! I really can't stop laughing. Also I LOVED your post about day light savings time and I totally agree!
