It is so funny, not to mention a little scary, that Lane and I are going to be parents. I mean, seriously, Lane and me.... parents?!?!? We have done pretty okay on our own for 6+ years but we are not exactly what I would call mature and grown-up. I worry sometimes if we are truly ready for parenthood, but I guess no one ever is truly ready.
Thankfully even though we might not be psychologically ready to be mom and dad... we have just about all the baby crap Junior needs to make it in this world! I have to say our little growing family is truly blessed with wonderful friends and the most amazing, supportive parents. All the baby stuff has been a huge gift to us, even if Lane is stressed out about how quick the house is turning into baby land.
Speaking of Lane being stressed. Two men at his work have now had their babies way early. I have gotten several phonecalls and a couple emails demanding I get the hospital bag packed because he is nervous... I keep explaining that Junior and I have had lots of talks and he knows that he is to go against this growing trend and come on his due date or late.
Early is not acceptable.

I guess it's okay you steal things from me. I mean, we are friends, and it's only stealing when you don't like the person. :) I had such a good time with you and I'm so excitied for Junior to join the real world, on time. I love you!!
I am SO happy that I got to be there! It just would not have been the same! And yes, baby Junior is VERY blessed!
Laura, I so enjoyed your showers and our time together! See my girls together again is really sweet. Your Mom's did a great job! Miss you.
